Countdown to the Iseer Live Launch
A concise overview of our public launch, our principles, and what comes next.

We are excited to share the beginning of Iseer’s public chapter. This post provides a brief overview of our launch, the work ahead, and how to follow along.
Why now
September 20 is not a finish line; it is a deliberate starting point. Over the last year, we’ve been building the technical foundation, product scaffolding, and operating principles for Iseer. We’re ready to share our direction publicly, invite collaborators, and begin a steady cadence of research and product updates.
What we’re launching
Arete (preview)
Arete is Iseer’s synthetic intelligence framework. In this early phase, we’re opening a preview for partners and collaborators in three tracks:
- Research: evaluation and interpretability studies, especially around long‑horizon reasoning and control
- Product: pilot deployments in scientific discovery, learning systems, and complex decision support
- Platform: APIs and runtime surfaces for goal‑/constraint‑aware workflows
If you’re interested in working with Arete, reach out via the About page. We will expand access gradually, prioritizing safety, evaluation depth, and real‑world value.
The Updates stream
You’re reading the first of a series of field notes, research briefs, and product milestones. Expect a balance of principled writing and practical detail—what worked, what didn’t, and what we learned along the way.
Principles we carry forward
Our launch is framed by principles that will guide how we build and how we show up:
- Rigor over hype. Claims are backed by data, ablations, and visible limitations.
- Safety by design. We consider failure modes and misuse early, with layered mitigations.
- Interpretability and verification. Observability is a feature, not an afterthought.
- Practical utility with scientific depth. Useful today, extensible tomorrow.
- Long‑term orientation. We choose compounding work over short‑term churn.
Roadmap at a glance
- Q4: Arete private preview expansions, evaluation kits, and first pilots
- Q1: Public research artifacts (evaluation protocols, interpretability tooling) and developer sign‑ups
- Ongoing: Monthly Updates posts, partner notes, and build diaries
How to get involved
- Partnerships and pilots: We welcome focused collaborations where Arete can add real value.
- Research: If you work on evaluation, interpretability, control, or safety, we’d like to compare notes.
- Hiring: We are assembling a careful, excellent team across research, engineering, and design.
Thank you
To the early readers, reviewers, and partners who helped us get here—thank you. This community’s rigor and care shape our work every day.
If our direction resonates, follow along here and reach out. We’ll keep things clear, honest, and useful.
